Image Collection

The database features a digital library of photographs of fresh and pressed intertidal marine algae, predominantly from the west coast of the United States. These images were scanned from university herbaria, personal collections, and other contributors listed here. Each image is accompanied by collection information and the current species name.
Collection information includes site, intertidal zone, collection date, and herbarium code. The collector, determiner, and verifier is noted whenever possible.
